| Job Description |
Our client is recruiting Band 6 staff nurse for their 23 Bedded Cardiac ITU department. The ITU cares for patients following a variety of cardiothoracic procedures including heart and lung transplantation and insertion of Ventricular Assist Devices. Nurses on the unit require critical care skills in the care and management of our patients who may require advanced modes of ventilation, IABP, CVVHDF, nitric oxide and cardiac pacing.
Candidates should have evidence of advanced critical care skill development you will have successfully completed a relevant post basic course as well as a recognised teaching and assessment course.
Applicants should have experience in mentoring/assessing nursing colleagues.
Salary : £28,556-£37,692 including HCAS (outer).
